We're looking forward to another Branson Timeshare Vacation. In 2006 we were in Branson, MO, where we stayed at another timeshare 5 Star Quality resort. There is so much to do in Branson that we are returning there this year. One of the reasons that we decided to return to Branson is the high gas prices. We have had an Interval International exchange request in for the west coast, particularly the Depoe Bay Area, for almost one year without any exchange luck. Since we have a daughter going to College in Bend, Oregon and a brother who has a ranch nearby, an Oregon vacation would have been great. Evidently, though, it wasn't in the cards for this year.

Just a couple of days ago, we decided that with the gas prices so high, it would have cost us $1,200 in gas to go out west and back, so we looked at other options. Finally we said, "Let's try another Branson timeshare vacation. Yea!!!

But folks, if you go to Branson, you will miss the Roy Rogers and Dale Evans Museum.

Fear not. Click our "Pinterest" article on "Cowboys" to see what you missed. The Roy Rogers and Dale Evans Museum articles were recently auctioned off. We show you the pictures and the prices these Cowboy articles were sold for.

Well, within 2 hours, we had canceled the WorldMark Depot Bay timeshare request that we had made almost a year earlier and were confirmed into a 3 bedroom Stormy Point Village timeshare resort for another Branson timeshare vacation. Wow! We will be in a huge, 3 bedroom unit right on Table Rock Lake in Branson, MO this September, 2012. We just saved ourselves $1,200 in gas by not traveling to the west coast this year.

President Obama just saved us $1,200 in gas by canceling our west coast timeshare vacation. What a shame! To travel round trip to the west coast we would probably have stayed overnight in at least 6 motels along the way. At $60 per night, a conservative estimate, that would be $300 at least in lost tourist dollars. Another 12 meals dining out would be another $120 to $200 lost to local businesses. We also saved ourselves $900 by not putting our sailboat into the marina at Detroit Lakes, MN. More dollars lost to local businesses.

But now we can look forward to our Branson timeshare vacation in September of this year 2012.
